The Position:
The core activity is to analyse, develop and support medium and large pan-European projects based on Java and open source technologies. The projects span from the pharmaceutical, environmental, chemical as well as EU institutions domains.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be expected to possess the following:
University degree in Information Technology
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT
Proven track record on RUP
Excellent ability to author and review Use Case specification documents
Experience in relation to Java/JEE development (minimum 3 year)
Experience in JSF (or JSP/Struts), Hibernate (or other O/R mapping tool), Spring
Nice-to-have: XML, Web services, Eclipse, Maven, Ant, Design Patterns
Sound technical knowledge in relational databases
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Knowledge of French is an asset
Good Team spirit and able to work in an international and multi-cultural environment
